Good Things, Bad Things

Tell me something positive, plus something negative about your day! They can be connected, or completely unrelated.

GOOD
Took the dog for a nice walk by the lake!

BAD
She found something delicious that she wasn't meant to have; after hauling her in to remove it, discovered it was some rather fragrant poop.    Wiped out with a broad leaf, but her mouth was still brown and my hands stank even though I didn't get any on me.   

(extra good: I took her back to the shower station by the lake and let her play with the water spray to clean her mouth, and to wash my hands. :p )

GOOD
Went to see Guardians of the Galaxy and it was a ton of fun. The movie was great and we had several friends go with us, which doesn't happen as often anymore now that life gets more and more in the way. Also it was Steve the cat's 3rd birthday so we spoiled him a bit throughout the day and he was extra cute.

BAD
Got almost no sleep/super shitty sleep because I'm sick and was in pain and forgot to take anything to help with that meds wise. Didn't help that Lee was all over the bed and hogging the blankets >>

GOOD

I gave a Captain America storyline (Dimension Z by Rick Remender) a second chance, and it was worth it. Also had homemade pizza.

BAD

I think either my 10+ year old sound card or my [original Center year]+ year old PC speakers are starting to go. Or something on the comp is.

Isn't, like, your entire computer dying? :p


GOOD

I have a little left-over salmon to cook for dinner.


BAD

While we were playing, Kissy managed to hook a thread into a crack in her claw, & came dangerously close to tearing the quick.  I managed to stop her and remove it safely though, so it's all good.

GERD

Almost time for (my) weekend!

Good thing:

I got married!

Bad thing:

My wedding ring wouldn't go onto my finger properly, I had to jam it on over the course of a minute while we stood in front of the justice... I have to have it resized.


The bad thing is pretty tiny though.

GOOD

Had a lovely time yesterday with a friend, we took our dogs to the beach and Kissy got to swim and chase a tennis ball.


BAD

Kissy ran after the ball on dry land, it bounced and she went "I GOT THIS", and took a flying leap for it. She missed entirely, and fell heavily on her side. She got up fine, but when she brought the ball back I realised she'd cut her [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] on a rock or seashell or something, and was bleeding freely.
((the cut got washed out in more sea water, and then properly disinfected when i got home; it wept a bit last night, but has dried overnight and doesn't feel heated or inflamed. I think she'll be fine. :p))


....dunno what your policy is on double-posts, Jane.   Don't plan on spamming double-triple posts like crazy, though. :p

Hahaha! My policy is "if you're not being actually annoying or jerkish, I probably don't care".   Also, what's with everyone getting married?   Major congratulations, hime...!

I'm finally getting over this cold-ish bug that appeared about 2 weeks ago.  

BAD

I got back from Scotland and Woofie had developed said bug.   

GOOD

Finally understanding the flow of Lucha Libre, and have a collection of luchadors I'm pulling for now.
